Jerry Brown Jerry Brown earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Southern Methodist University in 1969. He then worked fifteen months as an engineer at Texas Instruments in Dallas and then returned to SMU to earn a Master of Business Administration degree. In 1971 Jerry joined the Ripley Shirt Company which was a manufacturer of custom made dress shirts. These dress shirts were sold through custom tailors and direct sellers of custom clothing throughout the USA. After thirty-three years of managing a successful manufacturing business, Jerry sold the company in December 2003. Jerry learned a great deal about managing a closely held small business in his thirty-three years at Ripley. He is now offering his administrative skills to small businesses and small business owners who want to grow their business and protect the assets that they have worked so hard to accumulate. Cornerstone Asset Management was formed in early 2006. Jerry is the founder and president of Cornerstone, and he has assembled an outstanding team of professionals that work with him.
